Global Gravity is looking for a commercially driven Base Manager to lead and develop our Norwegian business.
Our ambition is to double revenue in Norway over the next five years , and we are looking for an experienced leader with the industry network, commercial mindset and determination to help us achieve this goal.
Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for sales development, employees and daily operations in Norway. Your primary focus will be on growing the business, developing customer relationships and securing new opportunities while ensuring efficient and reliable operational delivery.
Main Responsibilities
Drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities in the Norwegian oil and gas market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, drilling contractors and other key industry customers.
Develop the sales pipeline, negotiate commercial agreements and secure profitable, long-term business.
Lead and develop the Norwegian team, including recruitment, personnel management and performance.
Oversee daily operations, including offshore supervisor planning, warehouse activities, equipment, maintenance and logistics.
Manage sales budgets, operational costs, job profitability and administration.
Ensure safe, efficient operations and consistently high standards of customer service.
Your profile
We are looking for a commercially focused leader with strong industry knowledge and proven management experience.
The ideal candidate has:
A well-established network within the Norwegian oil and gas industry, preferably with direct relationships with major operators.
A proven track record in sales, business development and commercial negotiations.
Solid knowledge of drilling operations and offshore tubular handling.
Experience in personnel management and operational leadership.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and profitability.
Fluency in Norwegian and English.
Practical offshore experience, particularly from drilling rigs, and a relevant technical background would be significant advantages.
You are proactive, independent and results-oriented. You enjoy developing customer relationships, winning new business and leading a team to deliver excellent results.
