As part of the leadership team at a recently opened venue, you will play an important role in shaping daily operations, building a strong team culture, and helping us deliver an outstanding experience every single day.

Ensure smooth daily operations and strong team performanceCoach, support and motivate team members to succeed in a positive environmentMaintain excellent guest experience and high service qualityHandle challenges and complaints with a calm and solution-oriented mindset, and escalate when neededManage daily routines including online booking systems, reporting, group reservations, and general maintenance and cleanliness to keep operational standards highServe as the key link between the team and managementSpot opportunities and take ownership to improve operations, efficiency, and guest experience

In addition to daily leadership responsibilities, each Team Leader will take ownership of a specific operational focus area based on their skills, experience, and interests.

Examples of focus areas include:

Drive group sales, corporate bookings and birthday partiesCoordinate events and seasonal campaignsLead customer communication via phone and emailEnsure a smooth and memorable guest journey from first inquiry to final goodbye

Lead recruitment, scheduling, onboarding and team communicationsMonitor guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvementHelp build a positive and high-performing team cultureAnalyze operational challenges and implement improvements to support performance

Oversee inventory, merchandise and facility upkeepEnsure rooms, equipment and materials are operational and guest-readyManage stock levels, deliveries and operational supplies

A positive and energetic people person who genuinely enjoys customer-facing workA natural leader who gets satisfaction from coaching and motivating othersSomeone who takes ownership and wants to develop both people and operationsA calm problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environmentComfortable with hands-on operational tasksExperience in customer service, and preferably some leadership backgroundFluent in Norwegian, and good English is an advantageAvailable to work evenings and weekendsDevelopment-minded and interested in growing into broader leadership roles as Activate expands
