Senior Project Planner

Job Description

Responsible for schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the Civil scope.Proactively collect and consolidate planning information from relevant project stakeholders, including subcontractors.Communicate, review and integrate subcontractor schedules into the overall project plan.Establish, maintain and update Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.Lead project progress reviews and validate and challenge reported progress.Identify critical path activities, schedule risks and potential delays, and propose optimization and mitigation measures.Follow up project scheduling in accordance with contractual requirements, authority regulations and the Client's work processes.Provide the Planning Manager and project management with schedule analyses and decision-support information.Communicate potential scheduling issues and deviations to the Planning Manager to enable timely adjustments and mitigation actions.Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the schedule and ensure that improvements are implemented.Coordinate schedules with contractors and on-site construction activities.Support interfaces between civil activities and other relevant disciplines throughout project execution.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree within a technical or commercial discipline. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.

Minimum 5 years of experience within project planning from EPC projects.

Civil planning experience is preferred.

Extensive experience with Safran

Strong knowledge of schedule planning, resource planning and cost control.

Experience establishing and maintaining Level 4 and Level 5 schedules.

Solid understanding of construction sequencing, work logic and interfaces between disciplines.

Experience from EPC, modification or field development projects within the oil and gas industry.

Experience planning civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation activities.

Familiarity with commissioning and completion processes is an advantage.

Experience coordinating schedules with contractors and construction/site activities.

Structured, proactive and able to work independently.

Strong ability to identify schedule risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Results-oriented with a strong focus on project objectives, milestones and deliverables.

Able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and deliverables.
