Senior Backend Engineer – payment infrastructure at scale

About the role

Dintero develops and operates payment infrastructure handling more than 150 million API calls every month. We are looking for a senior backend engineer who wants end-to-end ownership of critical systems where reliability and correctness matter.

What you will do

Design and own backend services end-to-endBuild APIs used by merchants and partnersMake architectural decisions with long-term impactImprove scalability, observability and operational qualityShip frequently and own what you run in production

Who we are looking for

At least five years of backend development experienceExperience with distributed systems and architectural trade-offsExperience owning complex production systemsCloud experience; AWS is a plusScandinavian language is a plus, but not required
