The Digital Engineer is responsible for developing the technical and operational capability required to support SLB services in Stavanger.
The position prepares and supports the delivery of safe, reliable and efficient solutions, works with experienced engineers and specialists, and assists operational and customer-facing teams.
Successful position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well both independently and in a team.

Roles and Responsibilities
Support the delivery and continuous improvement of digital services.
Work with operational and technical data to create useful insights.
Configure, test and troubleshoot digital solutions.
Interface with domain experts, customers and service-delivery teams.
Contribute to data quality, documentation and technical reporting.
Support users and translate operational needs into practical digital solutions.
Participate in projects involving automation, analytics and connected workflows.
Follow SLB requirements for cybersecurity, data handling, quality and integrity.
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Geology, Geoscience, Geophysics or another relevant discipline.
Programming, analytics, automation or data-handling competence relevant to the position.
Interest in applying digital technology to operational and customer challenges.
Curious, adaptable and motivated to learn.
Able to take responsibility and follow through on commitments.
Clear communicator who collaborates effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
Structured and safety-conscious when working in changing situations.
Able to communicate effectively in English.
