The role

As Commercial Director, you will have overall responsibility for New Business in Norway and lead the commercial sales team. You will identify new market opportunities, develop strong customer and partner relationships, and contribute to the development and commercialisation of new services, concepts and business models.

The role spans strategy and execution. You will develop the sales strategy, drive structured sales processes, identify new revenue opportunities and play a key role in major tenders, contract negotiations and commercial discussions. You will also work closely with colleagues across Operations, Finance, Legal, Technology and Marketing.

An important part of your mandate will be to further develop the commercial function - its people, processes and ways of working - ensuring that the organisation is equipped for continued growth.

You have

a university degree in Business, Economics or equivalenta minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in commercial rolessolid experience in B2B sales and business developmentproven leadership experience and the ability to develop and lead a commercial teamexperience in strategic sales and in translating strategy into tangible commercial resultsstrong commercial and financial acumenexperience with complex customer processes, contracts and negotiationsan analytical approach and the ability to use data and market insight to identify opportunities for growth and profitabilityexcellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken

It is an advantage if you have

experience from real estate or other transaction- and contract-intensive businessesrelevant industry experienceexperience in developing and commercialising new services, concepts or business modelsexperience with partnerships and the development of new revenue streams
