Prototype Technician

This is a hands-on role within Alva’s prototyping team, focused on validating new electric motors under development. You will be responsible for assembling motor components and supporting the engineering team with data collection and testing. The role requires an understanding of electro-mechanical systems and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Mixing and handling epoxies and potting materialsSoldering electrical components and wiringAssembling components of electric motorsCollecting and documenting test data using Microsoft Word and ExcelSupporting engineers with testing and validation activities

Minimum 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environmentAbility to follow and write simple procedures and work instructionsExperience with engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) is an advantageExperience with epoxies or adhesives is an advantageSoldering experience is an advantageFluency in Norwegian or English
