Job description As Project Manager in the Network Expansion team at Recharge, you will play a key role in growing our network of ultra-fast EV charging stations in the Nordics. You’ll manage the full project lifecycle, from business case development to construction and commissioning of charging stations, ensuring efficient, high-quality rollouts that align with our financial goals and environmental ambitions. In this role, you’ll play a key part of the energy transition. Your work will make it easier for more people to choose electric mobility and help build infrastructure that truly makes a difference by accelerating our journey toward a zero-emission future. The role combines commercial evaluation and hands-on delivery to bring high-performing charging stations accessible to everyone. You’ll manage a portfolio of projects, often running in parallel, requiring strong prioritization, coordination, and execution skills. By working closely together with internal and external partners, you’ll ensure that each station is strategically located and helping us move toward a more sustainable future. Key responsibilities Lead the full project lifecycle, from site development and planning to commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery that meets high quality standards.Oversee a portfolio of parallel projects at various stages, driving effective timeline, budget, and stakeholder management while maintaining clear communication, regular status updates, and proactive risk handling.Coordinate stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.Oversee external partners including site owners, consultants, DSO, installation vendors to secure efficient delivery and adherence to contract terms.Evaluate site opportunities and prepare capex investment cases using standard financial metrics (ROI, NPV, IRR, Payback Period).Ensure documentation, reporting, and handover processes are completed in a structured and professional manner.Proactively manage risks, troubleshoot issues, adapt to changing conditions and/or priorities and escalate issues with commercially viable solutions.Success factors Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, economics, project management or a related discipline.Several years of relevant experience in project management, ideally within energy infrastructure, construction, or e-mobility.Demonstrated ability to develop and present capital investment business cases using standard financial metrics.Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment, delivery, and performance tracking.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and confidently with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.Fluent in English and Norwegian, written and spoken.Project management certification (PMP, Prince2) is an advantage.We believe that the right candidate has a genuine interest in the green shift, and is either already driving an EV or is very interested in doing so in the near future. You are an experienced and structured project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are confident in financial discussions, organized in execution, and proactive in overcoming obstacles. Naturally collaborative, you’re also confident leading independently, keeping projects on track and stakeholders aligned. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, maintaining focus and momentum in a rapidly evolving industry.
