Main responsibilities and tasks Revenue billing, including use of client portals Perform revenue accruals Processing of cost invoices Perform bank reconciliations Reporting of value-added tax (VAT) Reconciliation of balance sheet items Perform general accounting tasks Perform month-end closing tasks Registration of customs declarations Contribute to the professional development of the department Participate in carrying out other relevant assignments Qualification requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting 3-5 years’ experience with accounting Authorized accountant Experience from international companies or international business environments would be an advantage Experience from oil and gas and/or telecommunications would be an advantage Good technical skills and understanding of relevant accounting systems Experience with using Finance automation tools / AI Relevant experience may alleviate the requirements Personal qualities Strong verbal and written skills in both Norwegian and English Good social and communications skills Flexible, attention to detail, and interested in understanding the business Self-driven and taking initiative Ability to cope with a high pace of work in a hectic environment Systematic, analytical, and able to see the big picture Security requirements The position may require the processing of documents and information that mandates security clearance in accordance with the Norwegian Security Act.
