Job Description:
The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for performing Completion and Commissioning activities as instructed by the Commissioning System Responsible Engineers (SRE) related to the fabrication and system testing of topside equipment.This position requires flexibility and periods as commuter or rotation at Stord/offshore to be expected. Possible night shift.Prepare, set and/or verify Valve & Blind listsComplete CPCRsExecution of Commissioning activities assigned by the Comm SRE on dedicated systemsVerify Construction Field installations are according to design/ISO/P&IDs in collaboration with Commissioning SRE or others in MC/Commissioning team.Knowledge/knowledge of reading/understanding P&IDs and ISOsParticipate in check-out, verification (Walk Down/Yellow line) according to the RFCC (Ready for Commissioning Certificate) Hand-Over ProcessParticipate in meetings for planning Commissioning activities.According to good Alliance practice, ensure effective communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliersReporting to the Commissioning SRE regarding ongoing Commissioning activitiesAssist with the collection of documentation related to RFOC (Ready for Operations Certificate) Hand-over according to the System Lead's instructionsAssist related ATS (Agreement for Technical Services) and other resources.Assist the Commissioning System Responsible (SRE) or other personnel in the Commissioning team[s] [/s]with regards to testing, verification and documentation.MC follow-up and punch-out of defined packagesContribute to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning plans and requirements, while also meeting all client's project and operational requirementsContribute to the safe and efficient handover of relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.Qualifications:
Skilled worker or a related field or equivalent education / experience.Experience from offshore in either operations or maintenance team is of great benefit.Track record of mechanical construction, completion or operational experience and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry.Familiarity with Project Completion Systems. PIMS and document management systemsMinimum 3 years of relevant experiencePersonal traits:
