An exciting opportunity has arisen as Forwarder in our Forwarding and Export Logistics Department at Carpus, Kongsberg. We support our Delivery Projects and the Global Customer Support organisation in delivering hardware and spare parts to our customers worldwide at the right time and right place. What you will be doing Handle shipments from site and third-party suppliers for worldwide deliveriesPrepare and issue required export documentsContribute to being a competence centre for worldwide deliveriesContinuously keep your competence updatedSupport our internal customers in serving our external customersContribute to a high service level and enhancement of working processesWe think you should have Bachelor in logistics/supply chain/customs, or similar, and/or relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory.Experience in international transport, logistics, global export or customsKnowledge in international tradeExperienced in using digital tools like ERP and Microsoft 365 (e.g Outlook, Teams, Excel)Knowledge of Incoterms, dangerous goods handling, customs procedures and VATMeet safety requirements from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (Luftfartstilsynet)Fluency in Norwegian and English, both verbal and writtenThis employment may require a pre-employment check procedure in accordance with company security standards, role or site requirements.
