About the Role As a Project Engineer, you will be involved throughout the engineering process - from design and programming to testing, implementation and commissioning. Projects are mainly related to modification projects and control system upgrades within the Oil & Gas industry, both onshore and offshore. A key focus is modernizing and optimizing existing installations to ensure reliable, efficient and long-lasting solutions. You will typically work with technologies such as ABB 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, Harmony/Symphony+ and Melody. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute engineering activities within control systemsPerform HW/SW design and implementationSet up and configure control systemsProgram ABB controllers and HMI solutionsPerform testing and commissioningSupport on-site implementationContribute to modification and upgrade projectsTravel may be required depending on project needsYour Background We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in automation, technology and control systems, who is motivated to learn and develop within a strong technical environment. Ideally, you have: B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Automation, Cybernetics, IT, Process Control or a related fieldGood programming and computer skillsExperience with control systems is an advantage, but not a requirementGood communication skills in English, both written and spokenNorwegian language skills are an advantageRecently graduated?
