We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer in Automation to join ABB’s office in Fornebu. As a project engineer at ABB, you will typically work in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions to our customers. Your Responsibilities: Lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teamsPlan, design, program, test, and commission projectsPerform service and follow up on existing customers and installed systemsProgram 800xA controllers and HMIsCollaborate with and provide input to the sales organizationYour Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and/or technical vocational education within automation or a related fieldExperience with PLC/DCS programming is an advantageKnowledge of communication between HMI systems and PLCs (OPC, Profibus, Modbus, Comli)Ability to identify simple and practical solutions to complex problemsFluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spokenMinimum of 5 years of relevant experienceWe Offer: A positive and exciting work environment in a global organizationTechnical challenges in an innovative and forward-looking environmentFlexible working conditions with a high degree of responsibilitySkilled and enthusiastic colleagues eager to share their knowledgeThe position will be based at ABB’s office in Fornebu.
