The Accounting Analystwill play an important role in our Finance department in Oslo managing Account Receivables, Retail accounting and GL Ledger activities. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst for the Nordic market who will collaborate with cross functional teams like Sales, E-commerce, Retail and Operations ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient financial operations that support the continued success of our business. The role will report to European Credit Manager located in Oslo. Key tasks and responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash applicationMonitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize outstanding balancesReconcile Accounts Receivable ledgers and resolve discrepanciesInvestigate and resolve payment issues and customer disputesPrepare aging reports and support credit control activitiesManage Accounts Receivable activities related to e-commerce channelsRetail Accounting Reconcile Point of Sale (POS) systems with financial recordsManage cash application and bank deposit reconciliationsMonitor inventory-related accounting entries and investigate variancesGeneral Ledger Accounting Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and company policiesPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain accurate and complete financial recordsSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activitiesAdditional Responsibilities Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulationsCollaborate closely with Sales, E-commerce, Retail, Operations and Finance teamsSupport internal and external audit processesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencyAssist with financial analysis, reporting, hoc projects and auditThe Ideal Candidate will have: Experience and “hands-on” knowledge from various ERP and accounting systems (e.g Infor M3 ERP and SAP, BlackLine, Front POS)Good Excel knowledgeSolid accounting and credit knowledge with minimum 3+ years relevant hands-on experience preferably in an international settingExperience with US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)Ability to see opportunities for streamlining and automating tasksSkills: Ability to develop and implement new operating procedures and processes, mastering both people and system challenges and changes in doing soStructured, curios, willing to learn and master changesStrong work ethic with self-accountability for high-quality deliverablesWell organized and thorough, with attention to detailsProactiveness and sense of urgencyAbility to work independently and collaborate with business partnersCritical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDesire for continuous improvementFluent in a Scandinavian language and English (written and spoken)Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a lean, dynamic, high-growth and non-hierarchical environment.Ability to work well across functions and diverse communities.Flexibility for occasional early/late meetings with North American counterparts.Travel Requitements: Ability to travel, including potential international travel.We offer: A culture that rewards excellence in an exciting phase of growth and new opportunitiesAn ambitious, dynamic, creative, and international environmentAn active environment with passion for sportsDiscounts on great gearThis role is in Oslo - HH HQ and is a full-time employment.
