Frank is a newly established legal advisory company providing businesses with ongoing access to legal expertise through a tech-enabled, subscription-based model. Frank serves scale-ups and mid-market companies, combining legal expertise, technology and a product-oriented approach to legal service delivery. Frank is owned equally by venture studio Skeil and law firm Advokatfirmaet Molteberg Nilsen. About the role The Legal Associate/Senior Associate will focus on direct legal delivery to clients and report to the Head of Legal. The role is hands-on and client-facing, with responsibility for a portfolio of client matters across commercial contracts, employment and corporate law. The Legal Associate/Senior Associate will work closely with the Head of Legal and the wider legal team on complex and higher-risk matters, while also contributing to the continued development of Frank's legal delivery model as the company scales. Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts on behalf of clients Advise on employment law matters across the employee lifecycle Advise on corporate law matters, including structuring, governance, reorganisations and selected transactions Manage day-to-day client relationships and provide responsive legal support through clients' preferred communication channels, including Slack and Teams Use and contribute to the development of Frank's AI-assisted tools, workflows and delivery processes Work closely with the Head of Legal on complex, strategic or higher-risk matters Who we're looking for We are looking for candidates at Associate or Senior Associate level, typically with 2--4 years of relevant legal experience from business law firms, in-house legal teams or other advisory environments. Specific background matters less than a demonstrated ability to take responsibility early, exercise sound legal and commercial judgement, and work effectively with clients. The role is well suited to someone who is motivated by building and developing new ways of working, comfortable operating in an evolving environment, and genuinely interested in how technology and AI are changing legal work. Qualifications 2--5 years of relevant legal experience, typically at Associate or Senior Associate level (advokatfullmektig/advokat) Experience in one or more of commercial contracts, employment law and corporate law relevant to scale-ups and mid-market companies Strong legal drafting and analytical skills, combined with sound commercial judgement Interest in technology, AI and the development of new legal delivery models Fluent Norwegian and professional English, both written and spoken Why join Frank The Legal Associate/Senior Associate role offers a central position in building Frank's legal delivery from an early stage, with close mentorship from the Head of Legal and direct exposure to AI-assisted legal work.
