About the position
We are looking for an experienced Field Architect to strengthen our field development organisation and support the maturation of future growth opportunities across Vår Energi's portfolio.
You will join a multidisciplinary field development environment, working in teams with colleagues across subsurface, drilling, facilities and commercial disciplines. The team plays a key role in shaping future developments and supporting major investment decisions across Vår Energi's portfolio.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing robust and value-creating field development concepts, from early-phase assessments through decision-making and project maturation. You will work across subsurface, drilling, facilities and commercial disciplines to identify optimal development solutions and support strategic project decisions.
The role offers the opportunity to influence major investment decisions, shape future developments and contribute to maximizing value across a diverse portfolio of assets and opportunities.

Background and experience
Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline
10+ years of relevant experience in field development planning within the oil and gas industry
Strong understanding of early phase project development and concept selection processes
Proven experience from complex field development projects, preferably including subsea developments
Good understanding of interfaces between subsurface, drilling, facilities and commercial disciplines
Experience with economic evaluations, value creation and investment decision support
