As part of Bergen Engines&#39; Technical Department, we are responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering reliable and functional control and automation systems for engines and associated equipment. We also hold the electrical and power engineering responsibility for the delivery of complete generator set solutions.</p> <p>In addition, the department performs project-specific engineering and customization for each delivered installation.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Role Purpose</strong></p> <p>As Electrical Engineer at Bergen Engines you will be a part of developing solutions for advanced power generation through power system analysis, simulation, component selection, and grid integration, ensuring technically robust and competitive products that meet evolving Customer and regulatory requirements.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li>Modelling and simulation of electrical power generation and transmission systems</li><li>Perform transient response/stability analysis and relay coordination study</li><li>Populate parameters for protection relays and AVR</li><li>Based on fundamental understanding of physical principles, and results from own simulation, drive component selection, sizing and verification (through simulation, and tests when required)</li><li>Selection of electrical components that results in competitive power generation products, for both standard and bespoke projects.
